If you happened to buy a new Droid X yesterday, you may have noticed a couple of apps from Blockbuster and Electronic Arts pre-installed on your device. No, you didn’t ask for them, but Motorola and its T-Mobile Verizon carrier thought you might like them. The Blockbuster app provides a map of local retailers and allows users to download films from the company’s catalog. Good luck trying to delete the app, though. Sure, you can erase...

The new Motorola Droid X phone, with its slim profile and striking display, doesn’t set a new standard in industrial design. But what it lacks in style, it makes up for with features, including an emphasis on high-definition video recording and playback. The $200 Droid X (after a $100 rebate and with a two-year Verizon contract) will run Google’s latest Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and will include Adobe Flash Player 10.1, following...

We’re not too sure what’s going on here, but all of a sudden finding a HTC Droid Incredible for sale has become virtually impossible. No longer proudly on display on Verizon’s homepage, the only way to find the phone is to do a manual search for it. It’s still listed as available for sale, but clicking on the “buy” button redirects to a page which screams in bold letters that “ the selection you made...
