Test A iPad 4 Free

When Steve Jobs said Apple’s new iPad tablet would have 3G data service from AT&T during Wednesday’s press conference, sighs of disgust could be heard from the audience, presumably from disgruntled iPhone customers. Prior to the unveiling of the 9.7-inch device Wednesday, a few vague rumors suggested Verizon would carry the tablet. Instead, Jobs announced two versions of the iPad: a Wi-Fi only model and an unlocked, Wi-Fi + 3G model for use on GSM networks. The…

The iPad No “One More Thing” this year. Steve Jobs took to the stage and proceeded to rocket past months of tablet hype by finally confirming the 9.7-inch iPad. He concluded by claiming, “[The iPad is] our most advanced technology in a magical and revolutionary device at an unbelievable price.” Once revealed, Apple’s...

Apple iPad’s Display Is More Like a TV Than a Laptop
Apple iPad’s most striking feature, its gorgeous 9.7-inch touchscreen display, uses liquid crystal display technology — but with a few unusual twists — to present a vivid image and a wide viewing angle. “The iPad’s display uses the same capacitive touch screen technology as the iPhone and iPod touch,” says Vinita...

The iPad And Chrome OS Netbooks Are On A Collision Course
“ We don’t know how to build a $500 computer that’s not a piece of junk .” “ Netbooks aren’t better at anything .” Those two quotes are both from Apple CEO Steve Jobs . The first was during an earnings call in late 2008 when Jobs fielded a question about why Apple wasn’t cutting prices amid the rising...

What to Expect From Apple’s Tablet Unveiling
Apple’s got a lot planned for its Wednesday press event. While the invitation — “come see our latest creation” — is broad and vague, it’s fairly obvious that the biggest news will be the widely anticipated tablet. It’s about time. Tech observers have been anticipating an Apple tablet for several years,...

Apple Video Shows iPad Flash Support, But Don’t Believe It
Some of Apple’s promotional material about the iPad implies the device’s Safari browser can load Adobe Flash content. However, demonstration units of the tablet, including the one presented by Steve Jobs, could not, and a consumer has already filed a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission alleging false advertising. 9to5Mac’s...

5 Things The Apple iPad Should Have, but Doesn’t
It seems to be Apple’s MO to release a groundbreaking device, but to leave a few essentials off the roster right out of the gate. Unfortunately, the iPad is no exception. Although rumors of the iPad coming with gold-plated wings were (obviously) unfounded, there are a few “rumors” I would have liked to have seen come to fruition...

Adobe Plays the Porn Card in Flash Campaign Against iPad
Apple has clearly hurt Adobe’s feelings. When Steve Jobs demonstrated an iPad at Wednesday’s tablet event, its Safari browser clearly did not support Flash. Adobe has published a blog post calling Flash the Apple iPad’s “ broken link .” And now Adobe’s platform evangelist Lee Brimelow has compiled an illustrative...

Apple’s Tablet Could Be Print Industry’s Lifeboat
The more you think about it, the more obvious it is that an Apple tablet would specialize in reviving dead-tree media (i.e., newspapers, magazines and books). All the rumors suggest the device would be a larger iPod Touch/iPhone with a 10-inch screen. Previously Wired.com argued that redefining print would would be a logical purpose for a gadget...

Will the Apple Tablet Be Called iPad?
Bloggers can’t stop banging the rumor drum with an Apple press event scheduled for next week, presumably devoted to its anticipated tablet device. MacRumors’ Arnold Kim found evidence suggesting Apple filed for the trademark iPad , which could be another potential name for the rumored Apple tablet, in addition to iSlate and iGuide...
Hold on that credit card, the iPad could set you back nearly $1600 in two years
Earlier today Apple launched its next big thing, a 9.7-inch multitouch tablet dubbed the iPad. The gadget starts at $499 and goes all the way up to $829.
