I’ve been talking the talk about Nokia’s Booklet 3G for the past few months, and now it’s time for me to walk the walk! What’s not to love about this impressively tiny netbook that I finally got my hands on? Hands-On: Nokia Booklet 3G Promises Monster Battery Life
The netbook market is red hot, and it’s no surprise that it’s attracting new entrants. The Booklet 3G is a shot from Nokia, the world’s largest handset manufacturer. Nokia is trying to blur the line between smartphones and notebooks. While the Booklet 3G is a late entrant to an overcrowded party, it does have a few things going...

Nokia launches 16GB X6
A somewhat tame version of the X6 has been announced by Nokia today and will become available this quarter. The new 16GB X6 has half the memory capacity of the 32GB version, and it’s also missing the Comes With Music feature. If you think you can live with that, the 16GB X6 has an impressive battery life of 11.5 hours talk time and 18 days...

Nokia Booklet netbooks start infiltrating your local Best Buy
Who wants to buy a $2,000 netbook? Well, if you’d like to walk away with one for $299.99 and a $60/mo AT&T data plan for 2 years, you can. Otherwise the smarter move would be to purchase it at retail price of around $599.99 and get a data plan from AT&T without a two-year commitment. But regardless of the method of purchase, if...

Nokia Booklet 3G slips to $199 on contract ‘through the holidays’
Few people were debating that the $299 on contract price for Nokia’s Atom-powered Booklet 3G was a bit steep, but now it has fallen more in line with its closest competition thanks to a price drop at Best Buy Mobile. From December 13th “through the holidays,” the Windows 7-packin’ machine (which we just recently reviewed...
Apple’s next big thing? A $500 iSlate with a long-lasting battery, analysts say
Forget about e-books, OLED display, and movies – the top features of Apple’s rumored tablet will be the price and battery life. If the iSlate is really Apple’s next big thing, it shouldn’t cost more than $500 or force us into another monthly data plan – and it absolutely must run at least six hours  Read More →

Asus Core I7 Laptop Claims 12-Hour Battery Life

A Beautiful, Organic but Pricey Laptop Case From J.Crew
Every so often, I completely fall in love with an overpriced gadget accessory. This is one of those times. Logitech mouse/keyboard’s batteries said to last three years
Here’s a first: a mouse and keyboard combo with “up to” three years of battery life. Dang. The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 uses the 2.4 GHz band (thank goodness, no Bluetooth), transmitting your input via that ultra-small Logitech unifying receiver. The keyboard has a cushy palm rest and concave “Incurve” keys,...

Fresh from its takeover of Sanyo , Panasonic has unveiled plans for a Lithium storage battery that will be able to power the gizmos in your home for a whole week.
