Is a Facebook Poke a Legit Means of Communication?
You already know that Facebook can make you jealous in a relationship , status updates can cause competition , and it can even cause your grades to drop . But can it land you in prison? According to law enforcement in Tennessee, it can. I just learned about a woman who was arrested for a Facebook poke . Turns out, the poke broke an order of protection stating, “no telephoning, contacting or otherwise communicating with the petitioner.” The guilty party faces up to a month in jail and a $2,500 fine.
