Bloomberg is reporting that social network Facebook will postpone an IPO until 2012. Investors have been speculating that the world’s largest social network — valued at $24.9 billion — would go public sometime in 2011. After years of pleading, the fine folks over at Data Robotics finally gifted you with a Drobo NAS. They called it the Drobo FS , but we all know what the real skinny is. But is the five-bay, Ethernet-friendly storage robot really a dream come true? We’ve had nothing but success with it in our Time Machine setup , but as with pretty much any networked drive, we’ve heard reports here and there of frustrations and complications. For...

It may be that not everyone finds old test patterns as entertaining as I do. I just love everything about them! I don’t know why! And yet — they wouldn’t really work with the aesthetic I’ve got going on my desk right now (black and metal (not black metal)), so it’s up to you guys to enjoy these for me. I wish the black and white one had the Indian — the color bars are just the way I like ‘em, though....

Filed under: Gaming , Mac Boy, if you had to choose one company (including Apple) that has really led the charge for Mac gaming recently, I’d have to say Valve takes the cake, and that’s no lie. That graphics layer coding...

This isn’t your regular run-of-the-mill computer game. It’s a motion-controlled program that teaches preteen girls how to resist peer pressure when it comes to sex. Subjects wear a motion capture-enabled hat and jacket in order to “jump into the character’s skin” and learn how to react when found in sexual situations. Interesting idea, but is it real or fake?
